“Skies” magazine liked Dave’s song “The Crossing” so much that they canvassed their readership for cockpit images of aircraft crossing oceans, and put together a video to go with the song. (From Dave’s 2018 album, “Climbin’ Away”)
Dave has travelled remote areas of the Crown land by snowshoe and canoe for 40 years. Using skills passed on to him by a Quebec trapper friend, his methods and gear from the long-ago past are unique, educational — and entertaining!
Dave has written a warm and slightly humorous song about remembering the essential things during this time of contagion and pain. He used old family videos and snapshots to make this video.
