This was the lead song of my earlier album, “Wilderness Waltz”. I thought it worked out rather well, so I saw no reason to re-record it for “Climbin’ Away”.
Obviously it sounds a bit different — it was recorded on reel-to-reel big tape (before the digital era). For this album, I brought the original final “DAT” tape back into the studio. Fortunately Gary Long, Co-Producer and Engineer, still had the machinery to open it and pull the music, so here it is — as it was.
